Motohiro ITO,教授。2006年于名古屋工业大学应用化学系获得学士学位,2008年于名古屋工业大学材料科学与工程系获得硕士学位,2008年到至今,在NTN先进技术研究所从事滚动轴承用润滑脂的研究与开发(尤其是钢材的氢脆性疲劳剥落)。
In this report, Mr. Motohiro ITO investigated the influence of additives on brittle flaking failure lives on actual bearings. And, this work also explains the one of the possible mechanisms of this brittle flaking failure is due to slippage between the rolling contact elements operating under severe conditions. The slippage brings about wear, i.e. exposing active fresh metal surfaces, by which the lubricants decompose. Subsequently, hydrogen is generated and penetrates into steels.
